urban area with more comfortable life people are losing their tamper and being
more selfish. In Himachal Pradesh, in today’s time they are so humble, kind and
believe in ‘Atithi Devo Bhava’ weather they have basic amenity’s or not. In Indian
Constitution FRATERNITY assuring the dignity of the individual and the unity
and integrity of the Nation, in Himachal Pradesh people’s are practising it in true
séance. In Himachal Pradesh every village in call each other by Namaste and do
respect of every people. This is in culture of HP as I felt.
One
of twelve district of HP is Sirmour district where I have been for internship
at PAPN NGO. People’s of this district are also practising this kind of
culture. Manal Dochi is village where I go for some serious women issues. Sonpa
Devi, for whom I go, does not have enough space at her home for guest so we
were arranged to sit at nabour Kedo
Devi’s home. We go to there home and listen there problems. They both do not
have any one in family who can earn money. So they are the only one who is
taking responsibility of their home. Because of they are illiterate; they are
unaware of family planning. That’s why they have big families. After discussing
their problems they offered for lunch and it was so intensive offer that I
can’t refused it. In that 4 hours meeting not in once I realised, like I’m
outsider. For them it doesn’t matter they have some basic amenity’s or not but they
know that they have very humble harts and so much love for other.
like Sonpa Devi and Kedo Devi if u meet anyone in this village or district u
will get same response for sure. Because this is in not a formality this is a
culture of the HP. This kind of rich cultured people has to live in so much unaffiliated
region. Its difficult to reach many basic faculty’s here because most
of villages are situated at remote area. Thus there
should be take steps for development of this kind of region.
